WEATHERING THE STORMY

Conservatives endured another bump in the road on the way to the upcoming elections with the latest news that when some (now former) RNC party officials submitted their $2000 bar and entertainment tab from an L.A. sex club to the Republican National Committee, they actually paid it!

From the land of unintended consequences, due to this RNC sex club trainwreck incident, former porn star and now Louisiana Senate Democratic candidate Stormy Daniels (we are not making this up) after learning of the RNC incident, said that she would like to switch to the Republican Party.  Ms. Daniels now feels Republicans “best espouse what she called her "libertarian" views about sex and money.” http://news.bostonherald.com/news/national/south/view.bg?articleid=1245263

This incident will most likely be the last nail in the job coffin of Chairman Michael Steele since it happened on his watch and signals his lack of control.  Sacrificial lambs of this “boys night out” include resignations by;  RNC chief of staff Ken McKay, Sean Mahoney, a member of the RNC from New Hampshire, media consultant Curt Anderson, who “severed his ties with the RNC.  Last but not least the 80 year old wealthy philanthropist/businessman Sam Fox “stepped down from his RNC fundraising role”.

If, in the unlikely event that Mr. Fox truly walks away, it could cause the Republican money making machine to misfire as it comes out of the starting blocks since Sam Fox and friends have been key donators to the RNC for many years.  President George W. Bush rewarded Fox with the Ambassadorship to Belgium in a controversial recess appointment in 2007 as a reward for his GOP support.  We aren’t sure that Mr. Fox speaks much “Belgium” (Dutch, French and German) but the language of “money” is a universal method of communication unto itself.

This little incident underscores that, although sickened by the left wing's destruction of our country, there are many people including the Tea Party troops who are sometimes more enraged at what has gone on within the Grand Old Party itself.  Republican leaders should well understand that We The People know the mess we’re in was not the fault of just one political party.  In fact we know it’s our fault for putting you WPS into office in the first place.  Therefore, if there are a large number of “incumbent replacement actions” that happen, the GOP better have their act together and a damn good plan to repair the damages that are continuing as we speak.
