WHO WILL LEAD US? #1

Who will be elected as the Republican presidential candidate to run against Barack Obama?  We should all just admit our mistake.  We voted Obama into office (or failed to vote) because we were so mesmerized with his beautiful speeches, impressed with his intellect, awed by the special moment in history, appreciated his wonderful family and his smile.  Today we realize how stupid we all were.

We depended upon a joke of a national media to properly vet this “community organizer” from Chicago and even when his history was revealed, we ignored it.  So now who will we follow into battle in order to replace him?  We want a warrior in every sense of the word---strong, skilled, with an inner core of steel who knows why and for whom the battles are engaged and who will use the words of our Constitution as his/her weapons.  We want our Knight to wield that 223 year old parchment as a divinely inspired sword of truth to fight off all enemies, foreign and domestic.

We will reject mediocre, RNC-chosen hacks who have never had to fight for any thing as basic as earning a living, earning an education or fighting to put food on the table and who understand the POWER OF SAYING NO.  We have chosen these kinds of weather vane candidates before with appropriate results.  We got the government we deserved---but now we deserve better and are willing to engage the enemy, whether across the aisle or within our own ranks.

We the people have been left behind as minor appendages, superfluous background noise to the “official party machine” that “actually” chooses the “best” nominees.  The current Tea Party movement will continue to be a resonant voice for altering the politics of insanity which will help us all to sift through the “wanna be” Conservatives.  A mistake we can not afford to make is splitting the right wing vote by selecting a third party candidate on Election Day.

The best way to ensure that we have our best candidate is to do the homework on each, networking on the popular communication channels (Twitter, Facebook, email, etc.) and attending as many political events as possible.  Being a conservative today means that insults, threats (and eggs as Andrew Breitbart found out) and intimidation will be hurled toward you.  Your words will be called “hate speech” and “racist” so steel yourself for battle.

As someone who has never considered himself a very “religious” person, it now appears, that our country is in such deep excrement that sincere and copious amounts of prayer to God for guidance in this Battle for America, is strongly suggested.

The first person to mention is currently the #1 rated Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney.  He’s probably a very nice man but his warrior/backbone/street cred. is just not there.  Here’s a link to a short bio of Mitt Romney.  *Since it’s a Wiki, there could be some errors but for a first look at this presidential hopeful, it will do. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney More research of course, needs to be done.
